And the alternative is? Again, more bitching with no solutions. I guess the alternative is tougher, more selective profiling so Dennis doesn’t have to be inconvenienced, but I’m sure “profiling” is a dirty word for Dennis too. Whatever.

People, this is a tough problem to solve. We live in a huge country. Air travel is essential to our economy. We have to do what we have to do. Imagine how much bitching there would be if the checks on *everyone* were manditory? Takl about a slow down. Selective checks based on specific data is really the only reasonable way to do this.

There is no perfect system, and I’m still waiting for someone to make a case for a better, *realistic* system than the new system we’re working with.
