"Meat-eating vegetarians transform the movement"

Impossible.

I realize they are supposed to write for a fourth grade level, but couldn't they just say, "omnivore?"

These so-called flexitarians a term voted most useful word of 2003 by the American Dialect Society...

Because the term is so flexible?

After reading articles like this, I wonder why I am wasting time doing my work if I could get paid to write drivel. Drivel seems in these days anyway.

Yeah, I've been known to dabble in vegetarianism, but I certainly wouldn't give up a half rack of ribs for some well-prepared seitan (though both are can be made very tasty indeed).

I think that people are slowly becoming more conscious of what it is that goes into what it is that goes into their mouths (that was a mouthful too). They're starting to look for alternatives that at least appear to be more healthy. Of course, if you're faced with the choice of growth-hormone-riddled beef versus chemically-drowned soy, who's to say which one's better.

I would classify myself as an "organic flexivore". I eat meat often, but I only buy organic meat from Whole Foods.

I only eat meat from animals that are not cute (no lamb or beef). Yes, I think cows are cute. Well, pigs are kinda cute, too, but I like to have bacon now and then.

Look people, you're either a vegetarian or you're not.

People who eat meat some times are NOT vegetarians. We don't need any new labels.

Is it too easy to simply say: That term is retarded? I think we can all agree with that. Let's move on to making fun of PETA now.

Does this mean that bisexuals are now instead to be called flexisexuals?

Isn't it enough to say that I eat whole, healthy foods?

Today: Eggs with peppers and asparagus for breakfast, cranberry juice, protein shake mid-morning, salad with tuna and flax seed oil for lunch, roasted red pepper tofu dip with cucumbers mid-day, and chicken stir fry for dinner.

ok, yeah i agree with the chick who said that flexitarians are not vegetarians. she's right of course. if flexitarians were vegetarians they'd be called vegetarians.....but just because some people enjoy eating meat once in a while (like me for example) and call themselves vegetarians are pretty damn close. afterall a vegetarian is very similar to a vegan...therefore i do believe that flexitarians are within the same class as vegetarians...afterall we're all just trying to be more conscientious as to what we put in our bodies...so no one should discriminate us or say that we're not true vegetarians and disgusting meat eaters too....cause we're not so suck it up and deal with it....thankyou....good-day.
