Announcing the “The Building of Basecamp” workshop. Go behind the scenes and learn what it takes to launch a new web-based application &mdash from an idea on a napkin to launch and beyond. Don’t miss this one-day-only event (only 40 spots available). We hope to see you there.
Educational discount?
Any plans to offer this as a webcast or something similar for those out of town (or out of country) who can't make it to Chicago?
How about the european session? Bring it to Europe and you'll need three days to fullfil all orders.
Any plans for this?
We'd love to bring it to Europe, actually. But, first things first (Chicago).
Not sure if I can make it, but thanks for starting to put more emphasis on Web App design and development. Even though it is rather prevalent, I don't see much in the way of knowledge sharing on the subject. Plenty on Web sites of course.
Jason -- I have a member of my staff that I want to send to training, but a one day class, with the travel and lodging and such, isn't feasible.
You dear folks should consider a three- or four-day event, wrapping Basecamp's construction, Defensive Design, Good Design, etc etc into one. Then, I could justify sending Nathan.
*sigh* Yer killin' me.
I agree with Don. Even though I am only 130 miles away, it's still quite a trek just for the day.
That said, I am sure you will fill up the 40 seats easily. :)
Wow, we can't win. 3-4 days and people would complain about the price. We're holding it on a Friday so people can enjoy Chicago over the weekend. There's no better city in the summer.
Don, what we need to do is band some people together to get the 37ers to do a 2-3 dayer just for us.
That'll show 'em. :)
It won't be anything like this, will it?

;)
Jason -- Three days, $999 ("Under one thousand dollars!"), Wednesday thru Friday. Simple enough.
Sheesh ... I gotta run your business for ya now??
:-)
Just curious if you are going to cover the development of Dozen Holes as well as Basecamp?
