Snooty satire

27 May 2004 by Ryan Singer

Mr. H strikes again. Turns out satire is extra funny when the subjects are extra snooty.

The first link, second photo and the sencond link, first photo... all I thought to myself upon seeing the fat man slumped in the corner and ruling over the turkey was...

Orson Wells late in life.

***One more take please, Mr. Wells***

Or Michael Moore.

News is that Michael Moore has been receiving death threats. They could just be calls from his doctors with his blood work reports!

HA HA HA

Come on Michael, use some self-restraint. As much as you annoy me, it's nice to have diversity of opinions.

(On a serious note; death threats are sick. No matter how much you feel a person is "off", that's over the line. Hope they catch the bastards and throw the proverbial book at them.)

Good points, Don, but wherein Mr. Moore is just fat and obnoxious, Mr. Wells, was fat, obnoxious, and drunken. That's why the 1st link 2nd photo was so great... the guy looked like he was 5 sheets to the wind.

As an aside, the term, 'sheets to the wind" comes from sailing. Why it is used in drunken terms is becuase shipmen and sailors in the 1700's and 1800's would get absolutly LOADED on there boats adn go pleasure cruising. Well, when you get a little drunken and the judgement goes a bit, you might add to much, "sheet to the wind" and the cause of that would be the main mast (top mast) snapping. This not only disabled a ship, but could also disable men.

History and a shot at fat drunkards. Not a bad post. :)
