A quick
Basecamp update… Based on
extensive customer feedback, last week we launched a brand new permissions system that allows you to give your clients the option to post to-dos and milestones. Prior to this, clients could only post messages.
In addition to posting their own to-dos and milestones, clients can also complete (or check off) to-dos and milestones that are assigned to them.
This brings Basecamp closer inline with our big picture vision that Project Management is Communication. And, since communication is two-way, we wanted to give people the option to get their clients more involved.
Here’s some more info on the new permissions system, or try Basecamp free and experience it first hand.
I'm in a situation where I would like clients to view specific threads regarding work being done for them. Is there anyway an account option can be made to only view a certain section of the project that allows users just to post feedback. The problem I'm faced with now is that our client will be able to see our discussion regarding the project. Some of this info, we do not want them to see.
I hope that made sense.

Just use private messages.
Thanks for the quick response. I love Basecamp so much I would make love to it.
Thanks for all your efforts in making my life easier!
