Condi Rice, football prognosticator:
Ms. Rice said in Israel that she might try to stay up and watch some of the Super Bowl, which begins at 1:30 a.m. Monday local time, but aides said it was more likely that she would watch the very end of it while exercising in the early morning and later look at the whole game on tape. Meanwhile, she has told aides that the New England Patriots will win by 3 points.
The actual final score? New England holds off Philadelphia 24-21.

Considering that most games in the NFL are won by about three points, everyone under the sun picked the Patriots over the Eagles, and the Pats have won three of the last four Superbowls by three points, I wouldn't go dubbing her Nostradamus just yet...

Rice is well known as a sports fan, and it's a bonding point for her and George. Now if instead of impersonating a Vegas bookmaker so well, she could make the right picks in her real job...

Maybe she believes in the Drunken Walk theory. They did win the other 2 SuperBowls by 3. Why would things change, especially on a day when most Americans are putting DW theory into DW practice?
