The folks at Futuretrack5 have a nifty system in place using the Basecamp API.

Down with email!
I like it. Too many people are still using email when they could blatantly be using more productive tools - like basecamp!

Niiiiiiice - although the thought of coding all that makes my head spin. Hence me using Basecamp and Backpack in the first place :)
Also, I’m intrigued by this XHTMLized site. Eeeeenteresting.

This seems extremely powerful… I was wondering what people would do with the Basecamp API and now I can see rolling this into the CRM I’ve been writing for my wife (er, if I ever finish it!) I’m now getting visions of having her shopping cart automatically send new orders to our basecamp account as well… Guess I need to listen to Jason and Jim’s SXSW keynote again to get inspired to do this on my “down” time.

Ugh…it’s the anti-icon!

I can’t wait until something like this available for everyone to use in conjunction with Basecamp. Even with simple projects, having some sort of plug-in/e-mail filter/rule that sends anything from a certain address (i.e. from a team member on a project) right into Basecamp.
However, the impending launch of their Mockingboard collaborative design software piqued my interest as well.

We are turning into robots. its all “automatic” other people build our agenda for us… remember create your own adventure??? What if we were all free… Free enough to decide what we wanted to do for that day, reguardless of who is paying the most.
