Version 1.2 of Draft, 37signals’ basic sketch app for the iPad (with email and Campfire sharing built in), is now available in the App store. It includes bug fixes, faster response times, and smoother drawing.
More about the backstory of Draft.
Also, in Inc. magazine a few weeks back, Jason explained why we decided to charge $9.99 for Draft (“We have no interest in participating in a race to the bottom. Ninety-nine cents is not for us.”).

on 08 Dec 10I use this app all the time. Glad to see an upgrade.
Have you guys considered putting up a post of the iPad apps you use for business? I’d love to see the list. For me it’s
Dropbox for iPad: http://www.dropbox.com/ipad Agendas app: http://www.AgendasApp.com Sorted app: http://www.savageinteractive.com.au/Sorted/
All three are beautiful and simple. I get all my work done with them.

on 08 Dec 10Have you thought about making the tool recognize the UI elements and let the user be able to “play” the prototype design? E.g. in the play mode, I can check/uncheck checkboxes, toggle radio buttons, touch a link to go to a different (sketched) page.
This app reminds me of the (excellent) DENIM web design tool from UC/Berkeley by James Landay’s lab.

on 13 Dec 10Looks like the things are all set to get better with the advent of new technology. I have checked it and the upgrade does provide a good chance to have a better look at it. I think that there will be many m,ore people lurking around to have a look at this.

on 15 Dec 10Nice update! We recently used this app, along with several other iPad apps, to draft out the plan for a project and Draft was our favorite by a long shot. The other apps do more and are cheaper, but often that just means more overhead and inconsistent-looking wireframes.
The only thing I think it’s missing, is the ability to re-organize sketches.
