Their logo reminds me of the amazing eNormicom logo.

The logo reminds me even more of Amazon, just move the … swoosh … up on top and remove the arrow (L to C isn’t quite as clever as A to Z). Complete with partly bold/partly unbold.
(I’m not sure I can even count the number of fonts used.)
Shopped. I can tell by the pixels, and I have seen quite a few shops in my time.

Wow, didn’t expect the response…
Our client Leather Creations commissioned this ad at the last minute. The Chicago sales guys had the core idea and we ran with it. Frankly it felt nice to take a swipe at the crooked political machine of Chicago politics.
Outraged? Hold your emails – they ARE crooked. Check the record.
BTW: These guys really do make the best leather furniture that you can buy. I traded out for a big bad sectional sofa a few years ago when we landed the account. It’s built like a tank – a soft, comfy tank. Awesome.

on 01 Jan 09Longer than 6 years? What’s that supposed to mean? Don’t all leather couches last for at least 10?
Unless of course your mom’s Persian cat sprays it….

on 01 Jan 09@ Daniel…
6 years refers to the typical length of time one is allowed to serve as senator in the US…
...it’s a joke.
