Next week Trevor Turk will be joining 37signals as our newest programmer. His application impressed us with great code, open-source contributions, and strong writing skills. Plus he’s in Chicago which is an added bonus. Welcome on board, Trevor!
We’re still looking to add one more programmer to the team. Please see the job posting.

on 31 Mar 11We should be happy to see more people working under 37signals roof. ... assuming per-employee revenue doesn’t fall. Congrads, Trevor!

on 31 Mar 11I have much respect for both 37signals and Trevor Turk. Congrats to you both!
Jeff
on 31 Mar 11All I can say is, this is the kind of application that should be what gets you hired. No laundry list of technologies and impressive sounding job titles. Just here’s what I built, here’s what I contributed to. Pretty great.

on 01 Apr 11I notice that as the 37s team grows, so the preference for Chicago-based personnel increases.
JF
on 01 Apr 11Kip: The preference isn’t growing, we’re just trying to keep things a bit more balanced. We now have 10 people in Chicago, but 17 people elsewhere. We’d like to see that ratio a little closer to 50/50 (closer to our historical ratio).

on 01 Apr 11Congratulations, Trevor! You seem very smart.
Peaches
on 06 Apr 11Haha. Love the way 37s woke up and realized their satellite office plans were complete bs. Maybe they will come around to vc funding.
Peaches
on 06 Apr 11Can we also see a pic of this guy? I call bs on his name – so made up.
