on 10 Aug 09The level of details and though that’s been put in Gmail’s UI is just mind-blowing. No wonder it manages to beat any native email app hands down despite the limitations of its platform.

on 10 Aug 09It’s my email platform of choice, but the lack of an option disable conversation mode baffles me. I’m not saying get rid of it, just give me the option to turn it off.

on 10 Aug 09If you already have your alternate email in place, you still get another thoughtfully worded message asking you to confirm that the address it’s Ok. So bad I didn’t take a screen shot.

on 10 Aug 09After doing web-app support for a while, one will unveil how big the problem is of people forgetting passwords – and the lack of a working email address for password resetting.
I think if this feature were added out of forward-thinking, it would have been there a year ago, but since it’s just showing up now probably indicates it’s a response to a common support issue.
What’s interesting to me is that they chose a “pop-up” rather than send an email.

on 10 Aug 09That copy wasn’t always so well worded:
“Hey, this is important: If you ever lose access to your account, you can send password reset info to …”
