But you ruined my happiness 37Signals guys… I was so happy with my dual 22” monitors… you’ve been raising the bar over and over… :-) My next office will be inside a movie theater.
I would like to see the high-res of it…. it’s just curiosity.
Yotam: SizeUp is great on smaller screens, but loses some on flexibility on larger ones since you’re limited to a 2×2 set of partitions. A number of people, myself included, have suggested to the author of SizeUp that he make it more flexible and allow for arbitrary grids and he seems open to that, so I’m hopeful we’ll see that in a future release. For now, I’m really enjoying MercuryMover.

Are you actually going to put a picture of your desktop ? Really at that resolution, your point is moot.

…Or his point is the fact that he can tile so many Terminal windows at once on the 30” Display.

For any linux users out there, openbox has a similar keyboard window management feature with key mappings like MoveToEdgeSouth and GrowToEdgeNorth, search for ClaysViStyleSpatial for an excellent example.

Ok, for those who wanted a full-size screenshot, here you go. Fair warning, this one is sanitized and boring with just a bunch of empty windows.

I ♥ my 23” Cinema display – it’s a nice compromise. Besides my MacBook Air won’t drive a 30”
Slightly off topic, I see Jamis was able to post a message in bold text, and when Josh was announced as joining David was able to post a message with a red background.
Are these little Campfire Easter Eggs or are they en route to a web app near us?

Any Windows alternatives to MercuryMover? Work is not exactly mac friendly…

Des: Campfire doesn’t support text styling. Jamis added asterisks around “head explodes” and on this blog adding asterisks around something bolds it. That’s why you see it in bold here.
I see your running synergy as well. What other machine are you connected to? I love synergy it is a life saver when needing cross platform machines.

I don’t know about a 30” monitor, I’ve got 4×17” each running at 1280×1024. A grand total of 5120×1024 :)
Great for developing :- email on one, editor on another, output on the third and monitoring sessions (error_log, top, MySQL process list, etc) on the fourth.
Does me fine…

on 14 Aug 09where’s the hi-res version so we can actually see the desktop?
Tim
on 14 Aug 09That’s how I play online poker. I’m in 9 rooms at once
Alejandro Moreno
on 14 Aug 09I’m guessing the hi-res version is unavailable because those terminals are chock-full of sekrits :)

on 14 Aug 09I was going to get a 30” monitor, but I was afraid I’d get a neck injury trying to find my mouse cursor. Also it’s hecka expensive.
MercuryMover looks great – I’ve been struggling with how to manage terminal windows, and this looks like a good solution.
Quicksilver + MercuryMover = no more carpal tunnel.
