I love that video, puts in words what I liked about my last boss.

I’ve always thought the term “rockstar environment” to be a bit misleading , as the stereotypical rockstar has an ego larger than their talent, and can be notoriously hard to work with.

I don’t have a better term than rockstar, but I love to find one

The staff is the hardest to convince of this and it takes time for them to adjust to the concept. I’m fortunate to have a director that lives and breathes this notion of making ourselves useless by empowering our staff.
