It wasn’t until Monday that I realized the Progress view in current Basecamp is really meant to be left open on a second monitor (I use a Fluid app.) The alternating left/right hinders a one-time quick scan, but works great when you’re seeing it change out of the corner of your eye every 15-30 minutes or so. It’s like a climbing vine. I hope the new Basecamp will somehow prompt people to discover more of these intended uses.
Jason co-founded Basecamp back in 1999. He also co-authored REWORK, the New York Times bestselling book on running a "right-sized" business. Co-founded, co-authored... Can he do anything on his own?
