It’s never really a redesign until you redesign it the day before it launches.
I prefer the Kaizen (continual improvement) approach rather than making an event out of a launch.
:) indeed, the negative connotations associated with a redesign are apparent only when they are in a context which make them apparent.
One of the hard things about a redesign is that you never really know how well it works until the users start giving feedback. And, the other hard thing is that most people hate change, so even if the redesign has merit, there are often complaints!
